Biography

Shathi Govender leads Transworld Business Advisors of Detroit South as President, bringing more than three decades of global business experience across industries including publishing and media, mining and energy, telecommunications, manufacturing, security and risk management, retail, and transportation and logistics. Before moving into brokerage, he spent years in corporate operations, security, and training roles, giving him a practical, operator's perspective on what makes a business attractive to a buyer. He has served on the board of the Institute of Management Consultants USA, contributing to national standards for the consulting profession. Shathi's focus at Detroit South is building a team and process that helps Michigan business owners navigate a sale or acquisition with clarity, confidentiality, and a fair outcome for everyone at the table.
